After 29 unsuccessful attempts, DiegoSeb87 finally secured himself a signed FIFA World Cup™ winner's jersey after triumphing in Round 30 of the FIFA World Leagues Predictor. The Ecuadorian's victory owed much to draws in the featured matches in England, France and Romania, and Atletico Madrid's 2-1 win at Deportivo, which earned him bonus points. DiegoSeb87's only mistake was his backing of Toluca, who lost 3-1 to Pachuca.
Runner-up chomax finished just two points behind. Chengdu Blades' failure to beat Beijing Guo'an at home - the visitors emerged 2-0 winners - cost the Croatian the round.
Third-placed Numbo3 and Baggio1018 were thwarted by the featured Estonian fixture. The latter incorrectly backed Flora Tallinn to win, while Dmitri Lipartov's 82nd-minute winner, which snatched Sillamae Kalev victory, cost the German the weekly prize.
Saururrex survives to fight another day
Overall leader Saururrex stayed comfortably in front despite a poor performance in Round 30, in which he scored only 49 points. Fortunately for the Mexican, his closest challenger, AGUEVO, failed to score a single point and dropped to third. Likewise, LaArgentina fell one place, in his case to fourth, after returning only 92 points.
However, kammer was on the climb, leaping from fifth to second. But with almost 500 points between first and second place, he has a lot of work to do.
