Mobile
FIFA has developed a comprehensive, stand-alone solution tailored specifically for mobile operators. FIFA delivers a full range of mobile-specific content for the mobile licensees to use - not just live streams and highlight clips - with the goal of enhancing the end-user experience and driving higher usage rates.

During the FIFA World Cup, FIFA will propose an unprecedented production of content, with film crews following each participating team and producing clips which will be specifically edited for mobile.

The FIFA Mobile offering allows licensees to exploit their rights as of now with content such as archives (hundreds of clips produced from the FIFA archives) and downloads but also coverage of four FIFA events in 2009.

In order to derive full benefit from this content, the licensees have the opportunity to subscribe to the FIFA mobile services. FIFA contracted Ericsson to develop and service a mobile platform, thus allowing the licensees to benefit from a plug and play delivery solution.
